Brendan woke up this morning very excited - "It's the day I've been waiting for... Halloween!!! Where's Daddy?" Mind you, it's not uncommon at all for Brendan to wake up wondering where Daddy is ~ weekends are his favorite time!
We did get to go see Brent at work for trick-or-treating and to see the office decorations ~ very nice. Then we went to lunch together at Tokyo Joe's and Brendan and I spent the rest of the afternoon running errands in preparation for our trip this weekend to San Antonio. We did manage to get the rest of the egg carton crafts from Fall break up on the tree as well as a new Obama yard sign (along with several spares since they have a tendency to be stolen....).
We made a brief appearance at the Fall Fest at church for games and treats and then went trick-or-treating in the neighborhood for about an hour in the 60+ degree weather. Love that it was my turn this year to take him out!
