Brendan's first season of flag football came to an end today. I'm not sure how much Brendan actually enjoys playing football but he does seem to enjoy being around his teammates. I think the only thing he really mastered this season was his "ready" stance (hey, this was a BIG accomplishment!).
Yes, that's Brendan in the middle ~ his division is Kindergarten & 1st grade ~ and yes, he and one of the other boys were definitely the smallest on his team.
His coach was awesome and even sponsored a celebratory lunch at Lil Ricci's and gave each kid a trophy and Upward football. Brendan was beside himself and his trophy is proudly displayed on our entertainment center.
