Our church organized a Community Impact Project and we were excited to take part in it. Over 700 people went around our community to help out on different projects. We were part of a group of 250 people who came into a nearby neighborhood to do various tasks, depending on skills. Our family was assigned to pull weeds. Yep, right up our alley!

Emery even helped out... well, she ate and maintained a pretty sunny disposition for most of the morning. It was really a blessing to find a way for all of us to serve as a family. I'm looking forward to doing something like this again soon.
