Air Force Football

We headed down south to join Nana at the Air Force vs. BYU game in the Springs. We took a little tour of the Academy before the game. While we had Brendan posing by some of the airplanes, we looked in the sky and saw that the parachuters were practicing before the game. We had him look up and he freaked out! I guess it is a bit unnerving to see people falling out of the sky for the first time.

We enjoyed all the festivities of the game. From the cadets entering the field in formation and then running to their seats...









...to the parachuters and fighter plane flyby...














Brendan even got to sit in one of the gliders and dream about attending the Air Force Academy. (We may need to introduce Calculus a little earlier than planned...)















Of course the Falcons lost to the Cougars and it was quite cold once the sun went behind the stadium, I'm considering the day a huge success!
